Attempted murder

A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after two people were stabbed during a burglary at their home on Christmas Day.

Devenn Sutherman, 25, of Nelson Square, Bolton, has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated burglary and a section 47 assault after the incident in Hindley, Greater Manchester Police said. He has been remanded into custody and will appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court today.

The pair are now recovering from their injuries.
