ANTHONY Martial’s moment of magic in the second half against Burnley sealed the win for United, and the Frenchman was delighted to be on the scoresheet.

The 22-year-old got on the end of a brilliant ball from Romelu Lukaku to fire the Reds ahead and it was a perfectly-executed finish from the attacker.

Speaking to MUTV after the game, he joked about his poor English but gave his assessment on the game.

“Very good, it was a good game but most importantly it was a victory so everyone is happy,” said Martial.

“I don’t have very good English but yes, he (Lukaku) did very good work to give me the ball and I did a good finish so I’m happy.”

Martial has found some great form in recent games and has forced Mourinho to change his strategy.

The United manager spent the first half of the season switching the Frenchman with Marcus Rashford down the left wing.

However, after recent performances Martial has started six in a row with the away game against West Brom the last time he started on the bench.

And after inspiring United to victory against Sean Dyche’s side, Mourinho will find it hard to drop him for the next game in the league against Spurs on January 31. Before then United will travel to Yeovil in the FA Cup when Mourinho could decide to make some changes and rest players after a busy Christmas period.
