Unhappy PSG winger issues Mourinho plea

- By CHARLOTTE DUNCKER

LUCAS Moura has issued Jose Mourinho with a ‘come and get me’ plea after he admitting he is unhappy at Paris Saint Germain.

The Brazilian has been linked with a move to United in recent weeks and after declaring he likes English football ‘a lot’ he has spoken about his disappointment with his current situation.

The 25-year-old has not played since the win against Strasbourg in the French League Cup on December 13 and admitted he is ‘gutted’.

“It’s a brutal blow. I’m gutted that I’m no longer playing, to no longer be able to express myself as I was doing before,” he told L’Equipe.

“I’m not happy. I thought I’d built something solid with this club, but that’s clearly not the case.”

United tried to sign Moura in 2013 but instead he moved to Paris from Sao Paulo.

Jose Mourinho is also believed to be an admirer of the winger and with Unai Emery expected to get rid of players ahead of completing the signing of Kylian Mbappe he could decide to make a move now.

Emery has also given United an added boost.

The PSG boss said: “I told Lucas Moura my opinion about him as a footballer. With all my respect, I think that he will find more gametime [at another club].”

United aren’t the only club being linked with the Brazilian, and face competition from Spurs and Arsenal who are both said to be interested.
