Jsky’s the limit for fashionista’s single
CELEBS JOIN SINGER FOR ‘MYSELF’ LAUNCH PARTY
MANCHESTER fashionista and singer Jsky was joined by a host of celeb friends as he launched his new single Myself. And all eyes were on the man of the moment as he strutted the red carpet with a host of celeb pals at celeb haunt Club Liv in Peter Street.
The reality TV star was joined by Ex on the Beach’s Laura-Alicia Summers and Big Brother star Chanelle McCleary, who turned heads with their eye-catchingly bright ensembles.
Laura-Alicia had flashbulbs popping as she posed in a revealing red tasselled dress.
And Chanelle, who appeared on the Channel Five reality show Big Brother last summer, posed for the cameras in a hot pink blazer dress with a smart on-trend shoulder bag.
Chanelle recently put herself in the hands of the stylists on the transformation show Celebrity 100 Per Cent Hotter who vowed to “strip back the stripper chic” to give her a sophisticated new look.
At the end of last year she was involved in an incredible spat with Celebrity Big Brother’s Jemma Lucy at a red carpet event in Manchester, with security stepping in to hold them apart as they traded insults.
An onlooker said the two women were “face to face on the red carpet and had to be held apart by a doorman” at a party held at Impossible in Manchester.
The beef then continued between the models with Jemma branding Chanelle the “dregs of Manchester” and declaring “I got knuckle dusters” on her social media.
But Chanelle was all smiles at Jsky’s bash as she was joined on the red carpet by her nana Viv. Miss Manchester Zoe Dale wore her sparkly tiara to the launch with a white sleeveless top, black mini skirt and statement black heels with a slick of red lipstick.
Guests arrived to the sounds of Unity Radio’s DJ Sarah Giggle and Jsky, who performed his new song supported on the night by Manchester band China Lane.
Jsky, from Bury, has appeared on the reality show’s First Dates and last year he went on the E4 show Body Fixers.
Jsky, real name Jason Warner, is known out on the town for his eye-popping style statements, but when people kept mistaking him for a woman he decided to seek some professional style advice to swap his flamboyant image for a more “masculine” look.
The finance worker was urged to ditch his floral playsuit and oversized hoop earrings for jeans and a smart jacket with a scarf, and super-sleek hair.
And he was delighted with the end result, quipping that he had previously been likened to Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland and now he felt like Beyonce.
For his big night Jsky rocked the red carpet in metallic effect trousers with clumpy boots and a statement WorldofJsky.com T-shirt worn under a cellophane top.
His new single, which he describes as coming from “a place of hurt and triumph” is produced by DJ and songwriter Damon Hess and it’s his first independent release on WorldofJsky.com Records.
