Coyote Ugly set for venue at Deansgate Locks

-

BAR chain Coyote Ugly are bringing their bar-top dancing servers to Deansgate Locks, the US-based company has confirmed.

Work has already begun on Arch 2 on Whitworth Street West, which bosses say will be known for ‘Coyotes dancing on the bar, American style BBQ food and a wild atmosphere’.

It will form part of a strip that also has The Comedy Store, Revolution, Sakura and Lola Lo as neighbours.

Arch 2 was a private room belonging to Revolution, but it will be transformed to house the new Americana bar with bells on.

The hit 2000 film was based on the original Coyote Ugly bar located in New York City.

One year after opening the first British branch of the bar in Cardiff, Coyote Ugly opened its second venue in Liverpool in December.

Steve Lewis, Coyote Ugly Franchisee and director of Coyote Ugly in Cardiff, will be opening the Manchester site.

“Customers have been travelling to us from all over the UK, Ireland and from throughout Europe,” he said.

“Many patrons have been disappointed on not being able to book tables or booths as many key dates sell out weeks or months in advance.

“The perfect answer to this problem is to expand and open other venues throughout the UK.”

Applications are now being taken for the Coyote auditions, which are set to take place in Manchester at a date to be confirmed.

The company are now hiring ‘outgoing’ females, who don’t mind jumping on the bar every so often - literally.
