IS there a couple of billion burning a hole in the pocket of the council? This is not even needed and the money is needed elsewhere. Saff Ali Readers have been reacting online to a ‘once-in-a-century’ vision to transform Piccadilly station and the surrounding area. PICCADILLY definitely needs some sort of revamp. It’s the first thing a lot of people see when they come into Manchester. And it’s the scruffiest part of the city.
