The superstar duo and married couple broke the news with a short trailer, followed by an announceme­nt that they will play Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on Wednesday 13 June 2018. Other UK dates include Cardiff and the London Stadium.

Jarvis Cocker, Manchester Deaf Institute April 3 Jarvis Cocker has announced a string on intimate concerts in small clubs around the UK later this month. Following a successful one-off show at Sigur Ros’ festival in Iceland at the end of last year, Cocker’s new band ‘want to present what they are doing to a domestic audience.’ Cocker has hooked up with musicians Serafina Steer (harp, keyboards), Emma Smith (violin), Andrew McKinney (bass), Adam Betts (drums) to play under the name JARV. James Bay, Manchester Albert Hall May 30 With a new haircut and a new album, James Bay is making return to Manchester. In support of his upcoming album, Electric Light, the three-date UK tour will showcase new singles Wild Love and Pink Lemonade, along with some of his classic hits. Performing at Manchester Albert Hall on May 30, he’ll then head to the 02 Academy in Sheffield and Newcastle.

The veteran band has been releasing tracks for 25 years, and were founded in 1993 in Richmond, Virginia. The band states that their sound is made by, “blending rock, folk, Celtic, bluegrass and Americana traditions into etherelect­rified porch music.”

Danny Graft, Jonny Dutch and Scotty Stacks have earned their stripes with UK hip-hop crowd, thanks to their lads’ anthems and anti-swag style. They are huge on YouTube - with more than 2m combined views and their debut album recently reached number three in the iTunes chart.

The tour is in support of his new album, Spark, which is available on iTunes. He said: “The idea of starting a fire from a tiny spark has always been so intriguing to me. That’s the way I have always lived my life; starting with a small plan and then it becomes this dream I didn’t even know to dream.”

US trio, Midland, made waves with their debut single Drinkin’ Problem, and the follow-up track Make a Little is rising up the charts fast. The band will play across the country, starting in Brighton on November 26, and finishing up at London’s 02 Shepard’s Bush.

Tickets are on sale now. The Sheepdogs, Manchester Deaf Institute April 10 Canadian rock band, The Sheepdogs, are flying to the UK as part of their 2018 Changing Colours tour. Set to release a new album on April 27, the band will be performing new, unheard tracks at Manchester Deaf Institute on April 10. The Sheepdogs have booked three dates in the UK.

IAMDDB, Hidden April 18 Bringing together jazz, trap and R&B, IAMDDB is one of Manchester’s fastest rising stars, and this new collaborat­ion with Red Bull Music promises to be a unique gig. IAMDDB has outlined dress codes for each venue - with Manchester’s audience being asked to wear 90s gear - ensuring that each show has its own vibe. The artist said: “Each show will be very different and will only happen once. I’m asking fans to interpret the different themes themselves, so we can create something really unique together.”
