Keeper Bravo could make switch to PSG

CLAUDIO Bravo would consider a switch to Paris Saint-Germain if he decides to leave City, according to a source close to him.

The goalkeeper swapped Barcelona for the Blues in 2016 but failed to establish himself as the first-choice goalkeeper and has had to play back-up since Ederson was signed last summer.

Despite a string of impressive performances in the League Cup, Bravo is unlikely to replace the young Brazilian in the first team next season.

With no outstanding goalkeeper at the Ligue 1 frontrunners, the suggestion is that they are interested in Bravo.

“If Bravo leaves England, he would go to a club as important as City, with pretensions to achieve titles,” a source told La Cuarta.

“In that sense, the PSG option attracts him a lot, because it’s a great project in that institution.

“They’ve been following him for some time and in the past there were some approaches to have him.”

Bravo, who turns 35 next month, hinted earlier in the season that he could stay in Manchester beyond this season even if he fails to get regular game time at the Etihad.

“Life is not only about football, life involves a lot more,” he said in December.

“I have a family to consider. They are living in Manchester, we are thrilled that the kids are learning the language to perfection.”
