HANS-WILHELM Muller-Wohlfahrt has reignited his feud with Pep Guardiola, claiming the City manager ‘knows everything better’.

The former Bayern Munich doctor parted ways with the German giants after a well-publicised fallout with then coach Guardiola.

He quit after 38 years at the club claiming his medical department was blamed for a Champions League defeat to Porto in 2015.

And in an interview with ZDF, he revisited his relationship with Guardiola.

“Pep overestimates,” he said. “He knows everything better.

“I was too big for him. I had support in the club and support from the team.

“He cannot stand it when one is on par.

“He said he can make me a commander.

Muller-Wohlfahrt claims he was a ‘total fan’ of Guardiola to begin with, but knew there were issues after just three days working with the Catalan.

The Porto incident was the tipping point.

He added: “There was a very loud argument in the cabin.

“I had never experienced anything like that before. That was just against me.

“That’s when I knew - it’s no fun anymore.

“I have to stop for my honour and my name’s sake. I cannot put up with that.” VINCENT Kompany admits he still doubts his fitness on a daily basis.

The 31-year-old has been hampered by injuries during his career but has continuously defied the odds to come back stronger.

Kompany’s involvement in City’s title-charge is testament to his mental strength as well as his powers of recovery and the club captain admits he is spurred on by proving any doubters wrong.

“It’s a question I literally have to answer every single day of my life,” he said.

“I carry on and I take great enjoyment out of always coming back and fighting my way back.

“I feel good, I’m enjoying my football and I’m enjoying playing with this team.”

Pep Guardiola’s side return to Premier League action tomorrow knowing victories in their next two games, against Everton and United, will secure them the title.

Either side of the derby, City have a two-legged Champions League quarter-final against Liverpool.

And the centre-back knows the coming weeks will define the season for his club.

Kompany added: “It starts from now, really. Until the international break I didn’t really think too much about it, but we go to Goodison Park and we go to Anfield.

“That’s as hard as it gets, but we worked hard this season to be in this position.

“It’s a good two weeks for us to look forward.

“We’ve got a big squad, and a down-to-earth squad. We know that as much as we’ve been incredible this season, these games are against teams like United who will want to hurt us.
