Ammies move step closer to promotion
SALFORD CITY moved one step closer to promotion from the National League North as they picked up a 1-0 win at home to Gainsborough Trinity.
Carl Piergianni got the only goal for the Ammies on the stroke of half-time to earn them all three points at the Peninsula Stadium.
