HARRY Styles and thousands of his fans paid a moving tribute to the 22 people who lost their lives in the Manchester Arena bombing as he made an emotional homecoming to the venue.

Last night was the first time Harry has played at the Arena since the terrorist attack following Ariana Grande’s show at the venue on May 22 last year.

And when Harry came to perform the song he wrote for Ariana, Just A Little Bit Of My Heart, it became a poignant moment of remembrance for everyone at the concert.

Fans had planned their own tribute by distributing posters with Ariana’s trademark bunny ears and the number ‘22’ printed on them to remember all those who lost their lives in the atrocity. They held them aloft as Harry introduced the song and explained how special it was to perform it at the gig last night.

He said: “The next song we’re going to play, I wrote it a couple of years ago and I think tonight it means so much more than it ever has before being in this room.

“I thank you so much for being with me here tonight.”

Talking about how special the Manchester Arena is to him Harry, from Holmes Chapel, said: “I grew up coming to my first concerts in this room, I love this room.”

Fans sang along to every word of the emotional ballad that Harry had written for Ariana - holding aloft the posters throughout. And they continued singing a cappella after he had finished the song.

It came in the middle of Harry’s huge sold-out concert which featured a host of his solo hits as well as some of his global smashes as a member of boyband One Direction.
