UNITED will play AC Milan, Liverpool and Real Madrid during their fivematch pre-season tour of the United States in July.

United confirmed their participation in the annual International Champions Cup last week and the ICC has released its list of friendly fixtures to be played in the US and Asia.

Milan and United will face each other for the first time since the 2010 Champions League round-of-16 in Pasadena on July 25 in the Pasadena Rose Bowl, California.

United will also return to Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor to face Liverpool. ‘The Big House’ holds 107,601 and sold out for United’s 3-1 win over Real Madrid during the 2014 tour, which ended with victory over Liverpool in Miami.

Coincidentally, United’s Stateside tour will finish in Miami again with a game against Real. United drew with Real 1-1 in Santa Clara last year but triumphed in a penalty shoot-out.

Before their ICC encounters, United are scheduled to play Club America at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on July 19 and return to the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on July 22 to play San Jose Earthquakes.

United’s five-game schedule and participation in the Community Shield could scupper the chances of a European pre-season friendly.

Should they win the FA Cup then United will play champions City in the Community Shield on August 5.
