DIARYDIANNE Hair-raising day for Housewives!

-

FANS of the The Real Housewives of Cheshire know there’s never a dull moment in the lives of these ladies – and stars of the ITVBe reality show certainly caused a stir when they tried out some stunning new looks in Hale.

Cheshire Housewives favourites Ester Dee and Lauren Simon had flashbulbs popping as they tried on wigs with Big Brother stars Isabelle Warburton and Sallie Axl.

And Sallie was not to be outdone on the red carpet by her super-cute daughter Savannah-Blu who posed alongside her mum in a flowery pink and yellow dress with matching bonnet and coordinating socks and shoes.

Vivacious Housewives star Ester and 2017 Big Brother winner Isabelle channelled their inner Kim Kardashian as they strutted hand-in-hand to the launch of Hair Arvina, new luxury wig salon which offers ladies a pre-party makeover.

Revellers at Club Arvina can be pampered on arrival by a team of hair and make-up artists to get them looking their very best for their night out.

The blonde reality TV personalities both looked fabulous with Kim K-esque baby pink poker straight hair, which matched perfectly with Ester’s candycoloured dress and matching jacket.

And the mother of one was clearly having a great time at the launch of the new salon and online shop, the brainchild of Laura Bacon who admits to having a long-term obsession with wigs and trained in wig making at the UK Wig School.

Ester puckered up for a kiss with Isabelle and Sallie, who picked out a hot pink wig.

Flame-haired perfume entrepreneur Lauren turned heads with a different shade of red for the launch, swapping her claret locks for a strawberry shade.

Revellers at the launch party were served cocktails and sushi at the new club, the brainchild of Chris Bacon, of the Living Ventures hospitality group, and his wife Laura, with their business partner Steve Smethurst.

Tonight at 10pm on ITVBe The Real Housewives are heading to Marrakech to prepare for the wedding of Seema Malhotra and her husband Sandeep.

In last week’s episode we saw an emotional Forever Unique fashion boss Seema ask Sandeep to marry her again. FORMER Real Housewives of Cheshire co-stars Nermina Pieters-Mekic and Leanne Brown were reunited at a glamorous ladies lunch in Manchester.

Both were in stylish form for the occasion, Nermina rocking a red hot one-shoulder minidress while Leanne wore an intricately embellished black and lace number teamed with ankle boots.

Leanne, wife of former Man United star Wes Brown, shocked fans of the reality show when she announced she had quit the series at the start of the year, to concentrate on her charity work instead.

But Nermina, wife of Stoke City footballer Erik Pieters, has rejoined the gang for the ongoing seventh series which has thrown up plenty more drama and rows this time around.

Thankfully there were no such rows at the inaugural Mason Family Foundation ladies lunch in aid of the Seashell Trust.

The Mason family of Margaret, Carmen, Sara and Natasha were hostesses with the mostest for the charity lunch, following in the footsteps of their late father Gerry Mason’s support for the Seashell Trust for over a decade.

Over 100 ladies from across Cheshire and Greater Manchester gathered at the Alston Bar and Beef restaurant in the Corn Exchange yesterday for the lunch, which was sponsored by Boodles, raising an incredible £40,000 in the process.

It included entertainment by KoJo the guitarist and The Sing Along Waiters, pop up shops from Artiste, Boodles and Suka Boutique.

Rachel McCrystal, Fundraising Manager at the Seashell Trust, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have the support of the Mason Family, who have been supporting Seashell Trust for over 10 years now. We simply couldn’t provide the opportunities for our students without the generosity of those who donate to the Seashell Trust and attend and support events like the Ladies Lunch, not only have we raised £40,000 for Seashell but we have 107 new friends who now know about our work and will hopefully continue to support Seashell”.

Seashell Trust is a national centre of excellence, providing education and care for some of society’s most profoundly disabled children and young people.

The original founders of the Seashell Trust Robert Philips and William Bateman first met in Manchester’s Corn Exchange on 11th June 1823 and then opened their school for deaf children in rented premises in Salford.

Eight girls and six boys were given places funded entirely by public subscriptions. Within four years, demand grew and a purpose-built school was needed.

Now Seashell Trust educates and cares for children and young people with very special needs from all over the country, but is based in Cheadle Hulme.
