Dogs all over the UK are wagging their tails with delight, following the announcement that the Pilgrim Country House Hotel in the Wye Valley, has reversed a ban on our four-legged friends! Comments Steve Boyle, ex-England rugby international and owner of the hotel: “We had always been dog-friendly, and most owners and their pooches are well behaved. However, after re-decorating much of the hotel, and finding the occasional not-picked-up ‘deposit’ in our extensive grounds, we took the decision to ban dogs. But here at the Pilgrim we have a fantastic level of repeat visitors, and many of our past dog-owning guests have requested to return with their pets, so we have made a Government-like U-turn and welcomed them back!
