BOXER Tyson Fury showed off his slimline form in a trademark flamboyant shirt as he gets ready for his big return to the boxing ring. Tyson was the guest of honour at a special event at Manchester’s Piccadilly Hotel with more than 300 fans packing in to meet the Mancunian fighter.

And Tyson was on good form as he posed for photos and signed autographs for guests at the event.

He then took to the stage to answer questions from fans, including who he would like to face in the boxing ring.

While everyone is Tyson will eventually face Anthony Joshua, he told fans an announcement on his opponent for his comeback fight on June 9 won’t be made until later this month.

Mickey Martin organised the event at the weekend and said: “Tyson was an absolute gentleman, he was very respectful and was happy to pose for photos with his fans.

“He went on stage and said: ‘how do I look ladies and gentlemen?’ to rapturous applause.”

Mickey added it had been a lively Q&A on stage, compered by former boxer and Sky Sports pundit Johnny Nelson.

Mickey said: “He said how much he’d missed boxing, he’s tried golf and other sports but he just knows that he’s made for boxing.

“He said that being away for the past two years helped him to rejuvenate, that two years is a long time but it’s done him the world of good.”

As for that leopard print shirt? Well, Tyson has revealed that he gets all of his uniquely patterned blouses from shirt-maker Claudio Lugli – and that he’s teamed up with the designer to raise funds for mental health charity Mind with upcoming sales.
