ANDERSON Talisca has confirmed he wants to play in the Premier League next season.

United were linked with a £35m bid for the Besiktas forward earlier this week, with Portuguese outlet O Jogo claiming Jose Mourinho sees him as an ideal candidate to rejuvenate United’s attack.

And now attacking midfielder Talisca, who scored 20 goals in 47 appearances for Besiktas this season, has himself said he is keen on the idea of moving to England this summer.

In an interview with Brazilian outlet Correio, Talisca was asked which European league he wants to play in next season and responded: “England. For the supporters, for it being a theatre, a show. Every game is a spectacle and I like it.”

United and Liverpool have both been linked with Talisca but the Brazilian gave nothing away when pressed on potential destinations.

“There is interest, there is, but there is nothing certain,” the 24-year-old added. “I have not hit anything yet. It’s just speculation. These things about negotiation I cannot speak about.”

Talisca confirmed yesterday he will leave Besiktas in a lengthy Instagram post.

He wrote: “Life has always presented me with great challenges. I’ve always sought to have a lot of courage, willingness, and faith in God to confront them one by one.

“One of the most recent was to wear the Besiktas shirt. I had no idea what I would find in Turkey, but my feeling was good from the start, and so it proved.

“I was received indescribably in every way. I loved Istanbul, the Turkish people, the fans of our club and every part of Besiktas.

“I dedicated myself daily. I made history with the club and they made history in me. Everything and everyone that I’ve encountered in these last two seasons will be forever marked in my heart.

“Thank you, God! Thank you, Turkey! Thank you, Besiktas! I’ll be forever a Black Eagle flying around the world and cheering for the club!”
