Record growth for law firm Browne Jacobson

LAW firm Browne Jacobson is celebratin­g record growth.

The Manchester office achieved 26 per cent growth in revenue to £73m for the year ending March 31.

Over the last five years the firm has seen a growth of 46 per cent with revenues increasing by £23m.

The company, which moved to its new 11,055 sq ft offices at No.1 Spinningfi­elds in December, attributes the growth of its North West operation to its a growing client base, key sectors including education, healthcare, property and employment and investment in service delivery.

The firm’s commitment to expanding its offering in the North West has seen the number of employees at the Manchester office grow by 32 per cent in the last year.

Amanda Callaghan, partner and newly appointed head of Manchester, said: “It has been an incredibly strong year for the Manchester office.

“Our recent move to No.1 Spinningfi­elds and the number of high-level appointmen­ts we’ve made as a result, has played a major role in the great strides which the firm has made in the last year.

“The office has been one of the fastest growing across our network and we have a strong platform on which to build on this further.

“The North West is an important market and a key growth area for us, and we aim to continue to invest in the best legal talent and deliver exceptiona­l client service in order to create a top-tier practice in Manchester.”
