A 26-year-old woman from Maghull, Merseyside, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, and a 20-year-old man from Manchester, who was arrested on suspicion of murder and conspiracy to commit robbery, have been released under investigation. Known to friends as Migz, 21-year-old Mr Reynolds, from central Manchester, performed under the alias ‘Lil Gwop Boy’ and had just released a music video on YouTube.

He died in hospital after being found with gunshot injuries in Netherton, Sefton, Merseyside, on Thursday night.

A video, which features Migz and another artist known as ‘Nomanners’, was released on May 30, just days before the shooting.

Detectives have revealed officers are also investigating reports that shots were fired at another location nearby prior to the murder.

They said the firearms discharge could be linked to the attack on Mr Reynolds.
