Queen of rap Nicki grants city an audience

NICKI Minaj has announced details of a worldwide arena tour for 2018/19.

The rapper will head to Manchester Arena on March 18 as part of the tour.

She will be joined by co-headliner, Future, for all dates – which also includes London, Glasgow and Birmingham.

They will be in support of her upcoming fourth studio album Queen.

Due for release on August 10, it features singles Barbie Tingz and Chun-Li, as well as Bed – a collaborat­ion with Ariana Grande.

It marks her first new solo material in four years, following up The Pinkprint.

Since her 2012 debut, the artist has become one of the most successful rappers of all time, selling 60 million singles and receiving ten Grammy Award nomination­s.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday, June 15, at ticketmast­er.co.uk or AXS.com.

An O2 pre-sale takes place from 10am on Wednesday, June 13, at priority.o2.co.uk.

Tickets are priced between £40-£60, plus booking fees. Tour dates: March 11 – London, O2 Arena; March 14 – Birmingham Arena; March 17 – Glasgow, SSE Hydro; March 18 - Manchester Arena.
