Mourinho’s not a fan of the dab, but likes ‘funny’ Lingard

-

JOSE Mourinho has praised Jesse Lingard for adding to the ‘good atmosphere’ at Old Trafford - but insists Paul Pogba needs to work on his celebrations.

The United manager has gone back to school in a video partnership with Jaguar, where he was interrogated by schoolchildren who wanted to know inside information on their favourite players.

Pupils at Bishop Gilpin Church of England Primary School asked Mourinho about his World Cup preparations, as well as who he thought was the class clown at United.

Pogba and Lingard proved to be two of the players most popular with the youngsters, however, Mourinho insisted neither of them are troublemakers in the Old Trafford dressing room.

“Lingard is the funny one that doesn’t disturb the class,” said former PE teacher Mourinho.

“He’s positive and makes everyone in the class laugh. He creates a good atmosphere.”

And while Lingard got a good report card from his boss, the Portuguese was less impressed by Pogba and his trademark dab celebration.

“I think that’s a funny thing for him and you,” the 55-year-old laughed. “I don’t care about dabs.”

Mourinho was also asked what job he would do if he was not a football manager, and he revealed he will always be a teacher at heart.

“Inside me there is always a teacher,” he told them. “Coming back to school as a kid; or a teacher brings back a lot of special memories.”
