Glamorous Faye gives glimpse of bee tattoo
SOAP stars ramped up the glam as they stepped out to celebrate the launch of a new hair salon in Hale. Coronation Street favourite Faye Brookes showed off her Manchester bee tattoo on her back in a sheer black top as she headed to the Terence Paul Hale salon on Saturday.
Flixton girl Faye was among the 14,000 fans caught up in the devastating terror attack at Manchester Arena after Ariana’s concert on May 22 last year, and she previously told the M.E.N. that she would be getting a lasting tribute to that fateful night with an inking.
She told us: “I’m definitely going to get the Manchester bee tattoo. I’m Manchester born and bred and something like this has such an impact.
“Any human who was there is going to feel the exact same way.”
Faye, who plays Kate Connor in the ITV1 soap, sported pair of pretty floral shorts teamed with a pair of towering tan heels as she strutted to the salon with her brunette tresses piled high on her head in a bun.
Faye’s co-stars Catherine Tyldesley and Katie McGlynn and Hollyoaks beauty Sarah Jayne Dunn were also VIP guests at the opening hosted by stylist to the stars Calum Tierney in the former Lloyds Bank building.
And Walkden actress Cath and her husband Tom Pitfield saw the funny side as an advertising board toppled over as they arrived, and the actress rushed to help put it back in place.
Brian McFadden and his girlfriend Danielle Parkinson were looking bronzed after their holiday in Greece as they attended the salon launch.
Terence Paul Hale, launched by the company founded by Calum’s father Terence Paul Tierney 34 years ago, has relocated to a bigger building to accommodate a growing client base.
The new salon will be led by Calum and director Olivia Hammond, who joined Terence Paul as a Saturday girl more than 12 years ago.
