No time to question this Ticketing is all wrong

-

I COULD not help but laugh on reading that patients in Greater Manchester should question their doctor about the harm as well as the benefits of tests, treatments and procedures they are prescribed.

Does Prof Dame Sue Bailey, who is leading the Academy’s Choosing Wisely campaign, really believe that today’s doctors have the time, patience or genuine interest in their patients’ to take a joint decision about treatment? I think not.

Patients are allowed a ten minute consultation slot during which time that patient informs the doctor the nature of his/her visit whilst that doctor is merely staring at his computer screen. Very little conversation ensues and the patient is handed a prescription. End of story.

Stella Bowman, Prestwich THERE is a real problem with the way tickets are sold at the club I’ve been a member of for years and supported since I was a young boy.

The new season’s fixtures came out for United and tickets went on sale. The website was blocked and the phone was the same so I couldn’t make any contact. I then found they were all gone for almost every home match. Its supposed to be one ticket per member or a ballot for very popular matches.

I wanted to see them play Newcastle in October yet I find I can buy VIP tickets at ridiculous prices and even worse the ordinary tickets at exorbitant prices on secondary ticket sites. How do these sites get the tickets and how can the club justify this approach?
