£40,000 worth of watches taken by cat burglars

A TEAM of cat burglars scaled a wall and stole watches worth £40,000.

Police have released footage of five men pulling up in a saloon car outside a house in Salford.

They appear one after the other nimbly climbing a wall before forcing their way into the home in Pendlebury, Salford.

During the raid at the property in Wet Earth Green, watches worth £38,000 were stolen between 10.30pm and 10.40pm on April 5.

PCSO Jacqueline Brookes from Salford Neighbourh­ood Policing Team said: “This was a targeted attack in which the offenders appeared to know exactly where to look for the items they stole.

“Anyone who recognises the individual­s in this footage, or has any informatio­n, should contact police immediatel­y.” The watches taken were:Patak Felipe gent’s watch with silver face and black alligator skin strap valued at £20,000.

3* Rolex Daytona gent’s watch with a white face and gold strap valued at £12,000.

Cassio gents watch in silver valued at £300.

Tag Heuer Formula One gent’s watch with a red face and black rubber strap valued at £4,000.

Bvlgari gent’s watch with a silver face and brown strap valued at £1,000.
