/Thomas Cook reveals full 2019 long-haul schedule
THOMAS Cook Airlines has now unveiled its full summer 2019 long haul schedule - and it’s bringing in a new Airbus in Manchester.
The programme, which includes flight-only and package holidays, features new flights to Montego Bay and more flights to Seattle, Orlando and Cancun.
Manchester is among three airports the airline will fly from, to 13 destinations in the USA, the Caribbean and Mexico.
The airline is also bringing in a new Airbus A332 with fully refurbished premium and economy cabins, seat back in-flight entertainment and USB charging points.
It will be based at Manchester Airport and increases the airline’s fleet of A332s to eight and the group airline total long haul fleet to 27.
In total the airline, which is Manchester’s largest long haul carrier, will have 720,000 long haul seats on sale from Manchester next summer.
Seattle, which launched in May this year, will increase from two flights a week to three - the same frequency as San Francisco.
Cancun will fly daily, as will New York and 13 flights a week will go to Orlando at peak season, a growth of 21 per cent compared to summer 2018.
Montego Bay meanwhile, is a brand new long-haul destination.
Henry Sunley, commercial director at Thomas Cook Airlines said: “In the past two years we have increased flights to destinations such as San Francisco, so we are pleased to grow Seattle following its inaugural flight earlier this year, and Orlando which we know is really popular with our customers. We have a fantastic summer season of long-haul flights ahead.
“Strengthening our core fleet is a really important part of delivering great experiences for our customers, so we are looking forward to operating a new A332 in the long-haul programme next year.”
Prices include Seattle from £399.99 or premium £779.99, San Francisco from £399.99 or Premium £769.99, Montego Bay from £449.99 or Premium £689.99 and Cancun from £509.99 or Premium £709.99
