Man with pig charged

A MAN has been charged with taking an untethered pig into Norwich city centre.

Norfolk Police Sergeant Mark Shepherd posted a photograph of the pig on Twitter after it was caught, adding that he was ‘lost for words’.

A 27-year-old man, of no fixed address, has also been charged with a public order offence and allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control in a public place. The man was taken into custody and is due to appear before Norwich Magistrates’ Court.
