Seeing red over Lancs

-

AS A fan of Lancashire County Cricket Club, I am concerned we will be relegated from Division One of the County Championship.

The reason for this is too many collapses in the batting. First it was the openers, now the middle order.

Certain players like Haseeb Hameed and Shiv Chanderpaul in particular have not performed.

As a fan, am I alone in thinking this way? We are doing well in the T20 Blast, however, I judge them on red ball cricket. We are getting a reputation as a yo-yo team along with some other counties.

If the Yorkshire Championship defeat was a one-off, I would understand. However, it has happened at least three times this season.

If the worst happens then expect heads to roll starting with (coach) Glen Chapple and (director of cricket) Paul Allott. If they win the T20 Blast and get relegated, I will not be pleased. Wake up before it is too late.

Lancashire CCC get your priorities right and prove you care.
