I’m riled by roundabout

-

I AM writing with regards to Errwood Road, Burnage, and the Greenend roundabout.

One side is well kept and the grass looked after.

The left-hand side is a disgrace. It’s cleaned and swept once a year if we’re lucky.

There is hardly any grass and it’s worse since it was fenced off.

There are double lots of trees which shed leaves all the year round and now tonnes of bark from the trees which should be in a wood.

But we have to put up with the mess. Flooding also occurs near there. The grid is blocked but the council says it’s unadopted.

I thought it was a joke but if it is unadopted maybe that’s the reason, but both sides of the road pay the same council tax, so is that fair?
