My birthday? I likey!

WIFE CHRISTINE SERVES UP TREATS AS COMIC PADDY TURNS 45

-

IT was a case of ‘let the Paddy see the treats’ when Paddy McGuinness received a sweet birthday surprise from his wife Christine and their three children. The delighted Take Me Out host from Bolton, who is celebrating turning 45, walked into their kitchen in Cheshire to find the room filled with all his favourite things, white, blue and silver balloons and a huge cake.

As well as sweets, cake and bottles of beer, Christine, a guest star on the ITVBe reality show The Real Housewives of Cheshire, also organised some healthy treats from Neon Health Kitchen and the Body Building Warehouse for fitness fanatic Paddy. The doting dad has shown he’s on the road to being ripped with videos of his exercise regime including leg extensions, pull-ups, dead lifts, boxing, HIIT training, ring dips and the use of a bosu ball posted on his Instagram.

The birthday surprise, the handiwork of Cheshire events organiser Stephanie Ledigo and her Go: Surprise service, was a big hit with the father-of-three.

“Well I’ve come in and the good lady has organised... look at this! She’s even got me healthy treats,” he says in a video posted on his Instagram, panning around the kitchen with his phone camera. “Yay! Oh man, I love it!”

Paddy and Christine met at a tennis tournament and fashion show in 2008. They moved in together after two years of dating and comedian and presenter Paddy proposed a year later.

Earlier this year they were joined by a host of their celebrity pals at their first Twinkle Ball at the Hilton Hotel on Deansgate, raising more than £100,000.

The ball was held for the National Autistic Society following the diagnosis of the couple’s twins Leo and Penelope, aged four, with autism.
