Disabled gig goer given a Wonder-full lift by pals

THIS is the amazing moment Liam Gallagher fans hoisted a man in a wheelchair into the air so he could see the Mancunian legend belt out Oasis classic Wonderwall.
Michael Reynolds went Burnage-born star’s solo Saturday at Emirates Old Trafford with a group of pals.
The 30-year-old said he could have watched the concert in the designated disabled area, but wanted to stay with his 15 friends. It meant he struggled to see the stage over the crowd.
But when Liam launched into Wonderwall, something incredible happened.
Michael’s friends decided lift him and his wheelchair high over their heads so he could see. A group of around 20 people came over to help.
A heartwarming clip shared on Twitter shows Michael singing along to the Oasis favourite alongside those carrying him. It has been viewed by thousands of people. to the gig on
Twitter user @hannah_maex, who filmed the clip, said: “This man got to enjoy @liamgallagher last night the way everyone should. God bless those that helped.”
Michael, who works as a scrapyard manager, said it was an ‘unbelievable’ moment.
“Obviously, there was the disabled area, but there were 15 of us and I am the only one in a wheelchair,” he said.
“But I couldn’t see, I ended up just listening to it. My mates had the idea of lifting me up. Suddenly, there were 20 lads all helping. Everyone was loving it.”
He added: “It was really positive. The atmosphere was unbelievable. Everyone was really helping. You couldn’t fault the crowd at all, it was just people being positive wanting to help.” Michael, who lives in Leigh, decided to go to the gig at the last minute.
He has used a wheelchair for five years after breaking his back following an accident during a Motocross race. The incident left Michael paralysed, but he said he does not let it get in his way. He now races road bikes in his spare time.
