UNITED ace Juan Mata was spotted on a date night with his stunning girlfriend Evelina Kamph in the city centre.

Spanish footballer Juan was spotted walking along King Street as he and osteopath Evelina headed to the swanky Grand Pacific restaurant.

Juan, who played in United’s disappointing 3-1 defeat against Brighton at the weekend, was dressed casually in a bomber jacket and jeans, while Evelina wore a smart grey suit jacket and black trousers as they were spotted in town.

He and his Reds team-mates are now preparing for their huge match against Tottenham at Old Trafford on Monday night – and the star midfielder has urged his team-mates not to feel sorry for themselves after the Brighton defeat.

Mata wrote on his blog that he was confident United can pick themselves up and refocus.

“Without doubt, it wasn’t a good Sunday and the motivation to write something isn’t really there,” Mata said.

“The journey back from Brighton was tough, as you can all imagine. Both for us and for everyone that was there to support us.

“Although things have only just begun and there is a long way to go, it always hurts to lose. A lot.

“We made mistakes and they penalised us for them. But we have to pick ourselves back up, improve and be positive. There’s plenty still to come and feeling sorry for ourselves isn’t going to help anyone.”
