PADDY McGuinness and his wife Christine have reportedly had thousands of pounds worth of goods and cash stolen from their home.

The comic, 44, and his model wife were photographed leaving Wilmslow police station.

Sources close to the couple say a significant amount of goods and cash were taken from their Prestbury home. Police confirmed that the theft occurred ‘over a period of weeks,’ and that they are not looking for information from the public in relation to the incidents.

The force has described the theft as ‘an isolated incident’ and said there is no threat to the public.

Christine, 30, who is mum to three young children, was seen returning to the police station yesterday.

A spokesman for Cheshire police said: “At 11.30am on Wednesday, August 22, officers received reports of a theft from a property on Macclesfield Road, Prestbury.

“The victims reported that a number of items, including cash, have been taken from their home over a period of weeks. Inquiries in relation to the allegations are ongoing and officers are not appealing for information from the public.”

Pc Steve Kaminski, from Cheshire police, added: “I would like to reassure the community that this is believed to be an isolated incident which has no impact on local residents.”

A representative for Paddy and Christine confirmed the couple attended the police station on Wednesday but the couple declined to comment further.
