Ammies hit the road and look to make it three on the bounce

SALFORD CITY will look to make it three straight wins in the National League when they make the trip to Havant & Waterloovi­lle today.

The Ammies are 12th after winning their last two league games, including a 3-2 triumph at home to Chesterfie­ld last weekend.

Graham Alexander’s men now take on Havant & Waterloovi­lle who picked up their first win during a dramatic 4-3 victory at Braintree Town last weekend.

In the National League North, STOCKPORT COUNTY are at home to Alfreton Town.

The Hatters have drawn their last two games to leave themselves sixth, while Alfreton are in ninth.

FC UNITED are also at home, taking on Leamington at Broadhurst Park. It had been a difficult start for 21st placed FC United after losing their opening three games, but they won their last game against local rivals Altrincham. Leamington are in seventh position.

CURZON ASHTON will try to go unbeaten in three matches when they host Kiddermins­ter Harriers. Curzon are in 10th place, with Kiddermins­ter one position and one point below them.

ALTRINCHAM will attempt to return to winning ways when they head to Darlington. The Robins are in 13th place after two straight defeats, with Darlington in 14th, below Altrincham on goal difference.

ASHTON UNITED are away from home against Southport. Ashton are in 15th place, with Southport in 20th after ending a run of four straight defeats and getting their first victory in their last match.
