Aces looking to collect two victories in double-header

BELLE Vue face a crucial Bank Holiday double-header against Wolverhampton today.

The first clash is in Manchester, starting at noon – with the return fixture in the Black Country at 8pm.

The race for the play-offs is entering a critical phase as clubs aim to consolidate their position in the top four, but the Rentruck Aces’ recent run of form has shaken the foundations of the table.

Two away wins against Somerset and Swindon, plus their home triumph over Leicester last week, has caused major upset in the higher orders while throwing a lifeline to their play-off ambitions.

And with a renewed sense of confidence both in Manchester and on the road, the Aces their Premiership rivals in their sights.

But they go into both legs without club stalwart Dan Bewley after he crashed heavily at Workington, while the Parrys International Wolves sweat on the fitness of Nathan Greaves.
