Roxanne quits panto and radio after punch row with ex-corrie star ryan

ROXANNE Pallett has quit both her role in panto and her job as a radio breakfast show presenter following the Ryan thomas punch row on celebrity Big Brother.

the former Emmerdale actress has stepped down from her upcoming role as cinderella in chesterfie­ld and her job at Minster FM in York following the dispute in the CBB house, which saw her accuse former coronation street star Ryan of punching her.

after walking out of the house on saturday she has apologised and admitted she got it wrong, telling CBB host Emma Willis in a straight-talking interview that she was ‘the most hated girl in Britain right now’.

a statement from panto producers Paul holman associates said: “Roxanne Pallett has today decided to step down from her upcoming role as cinderella in chesterfie­ld, in order to take some time out and reflect on recent events.”

Roxanne, 35, joined Minster FM earlier this year, hosting the breakfast show with Ben Fry.

a statement from the radio station read out on air yesterday said: “as a result of discussion­s today with her representa­tives, Minster FM can confirm that Roxanne Pallett has stepped down from her position at the station with immediate effect to take some time out and reflect on recent events.”

Meanwhile, billionair­e fashion boss Umar kamani has showed just how much he’s backing Ryan to win the channel 5 show by flying a pink helicopter over the CBB house.

Umar, a close friend of the actor and the co-founder of Manchester-based fashion brand Pretty little thing, flew above the Elstree studios in the aircraft with the hashtag ‘Ryan to Win’ on the side.
