DOWN-TO-EARTH star Michelle Keegan delighted fans as she stopped to pose for selfies with them – and to wave at her cousin – as she talked about her life and career at the Intu Trafford Centre.
The Our Girl actress and former Coronation Street favourite was one of the inspirational guest speakers at the Stylist Live event over the weekend with celebrity talks and catwalk shows.
Michelle, who worked at the Trafford Centre in various stores from the age of 15 to 20, was thrilled to return to the shopping centre to a rapturous reception.
Sharing a photo of a giant poster for the event on her Instagram she said: “I fastforward a decade and this is hanging from the ceiling... Mind Blown.”
Michelle, 31, who was raised in Irlam, gave a talk entitled Michelle Keegan: A Reinvention, and she looked stunning in an outfit from her own range with online store Very, including an on-trend smart checked suit and slogan t-shirt which she teamed with white ankle boots.
Climbing onto the stage she cosied up to her followers for selfies.
And she told one fan afterwards: “So lovely meeting you darlin. Thankyou for coming all the way. I really appreciate it. Xxx”
Fan Asma Younus said: “You know someone really is grounded when they interrupt their talk on stage to wave hi to their cousin who’s just showed up.”
