TAKE That have announced they’ll be heading out on a huge new greatest hits tour to celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2019.

The group’s current line-up of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen will be touring UK arenas and stadiums next year including FIVE nights at Manchester Arena.

The trio have been re-imagining classic tracks from the band’s back catalogue as well as working on some new songs to add to their greatest hits collection, Odyssey, which will be released on November 23 and will form the set list for next year’s tour.

“The journey continues,” the band tweeted this morning.

“To celebrate 30 years as a band, we re-imagined some of our favourite songs, wrote a couple of new ones and we’ll be playing them live at our UK Arena and Stadium tour next year!”

Gary teased the news back in July, tweeting: “There are some exciting announcements coming from TTIII soon.

“We’ve an extremely important release coming this winter in the form of a Greatest Hits with a twist. Then in 2019 we will turn our recordings into a live show featuring all the hits from the last 3 decades.”

Odyssey features 27 tracks spanning three decades of the band’s history from their 1992 debut Take That And Party right up to the present day.

The album will also feature a host of special guests as well as three brand new tracks.

Mark said: “We wanted to tell the tale of the band, the history of what happened to us.

“If you only ever own one of them, this should be the definitive Take That record.”

The band will kick off their tour in Sheffield before visiting Glasgow, Manchester, Dublin, London, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Southampton, Bristol, Norwich, Middlesbrough and Huddersfield.

Tickets are on general sale now from Ticketmaster and Gigs and Tours.
