SKI TOTAL WELCOMES CHALET HOTEL ALBA IN MERIBEL FOR WINTER 2018/19 The four-diamond plus Chalet Hotel Alb, situated in a prime location in the heart of Meribel, joins the Ski Total portfolio for the winter 2018/19 season. It is located right on the edge of the slopes with the main Doron piste just 20 metres across the street, and a ski bridge to bring guests back to the ski room door. The chalet hotel sleeps 50-66 guests and features a large sun terrace with mountain views as well as a sauna, steam-room and indoor whirlpool spa-bath to unwind after a day exploring the pistes and can be booked.

SKI TOTAL’S XTRA CHALET CHAMPS AVALINS IN VAL D’ISERE TO WELCOME NEW LA DAILLE GONDOLA The original four-seater gondola in La Daille, Val d’Isere in France has been running since 1966 and after 52 years it is being replaced by a new ten-seater gondola with Wi-Fi and heater seats. The new cabins will take the overall passenger transport rate up to 2,800 people an hour (compared to 933 before) and will take 4 mins 30 secs to reach the top (compared to 9 mins before). In total, fifty 10-seater gondolas will make their way along the line, as well as a VIP gondola. The future gondola lift will follow an identical route to the existing lift. Starting at 1,802 metres and going up to 2,294 metres, the lift will still finish at La Folie Douce. The total cost for this project is 10 million euros.
