KYM’S THE BELLE OF THE BALL

CORONATION Street star Kym Marsh dazzled in emerald green as she walked the red carpet with her dapper date at Dawn Ward’s annual Creme de la Creme Ball.

Actress Kym confirmed this summer that she was dating army man Scott Ratcliff, a major in the Parachute Regiment, and the couple were all smiles as they arrived at the Ward family home in Great Warford, near Alderley Edge, for the glittering charity event on Saturday night.

Kym, who plays bistro manager Michelle Connor in Corrie, wowed in a green ballgown with plunging neckline, coordinating with her man who wore a navy and green kilt with a blazer and red bow tie.

Kym’s shimmering dress, which sported pockets in the skirt, was found following a lastminute dash to find the perfect look for the star-studded event hosted in the grounds of Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn and her ex-footballer husband Ashley’s home.

Hollyoaks favourites Gemma Merna, from Worsley, and Stephanie Waring, from Urmston, ramped up the glam for the Best of British theme event in gorgeous black gowns, as did former Shameless actress Tina Malone.

Gemma posed alongside her friend and former co-star Kieron Richardson, from Eccles, on the red carpet at the event in aid of Caudwell Children, helping to transform the lives of disabled children and their families.

Chelsee Healey, who plays Goldie McQueen in Hollyoaks, put on a daring display in a sweeping red slashed-detail dress teamed with eye-catching black heels and gold earrings.

Belle of the ball Dawn, the organiser and host of the event, wowed in a shimmering gold gown as she cosied up to her hubby Ashley who looked suave in a navy suit and red bow tie. Their daughters Darby and Taylor also had flashbulbs popping.

Interior designer and beauty entrepreneur Dawn was joined at the event by her friends and co-stars from the ITVBe reality show, and Charlotte Dawson, the daughter of the late Collyhurst comic Les.

Performing on the night were Dawn and Ashley’s eldest daughter, singer Darby and X Factor stars Rebecca Ferguson and Ruth Lorenzo.
