Zombie attraction on the haunt for actors

-

ACTORS are wanted for an exciting new zombie attraction on an abandoned ocean liner.

A total of ten actors are being recruited to terrify the living daylights out of people when they visit the old Duke of Lancaster ship, docked off the coast of North Wales.

The over-18s attraction, from Zombie Infection, will be opened in January, next year.

The vessel, which was made by the same people who built the Titanic, has lain abandoned near Mostyn in Flintshire - about an hour away from Manchester since the mid-1980s.

The jobs will be part-time, and staff will only have to work on weekends.

To apply, keep a look-out for the job adverts on the Zombie Infection Facebook page. Recruitment will take place in the New Year.

A spokesman for Zombie Infection, said: “We’ll be looking for actors of all experiences to do a number of roles including the infected scientists, event reps and a few other secret characters.

“All our staff also have the chance to work at all of our other sites across the country aswell.

“We train them all in special effects makeup, immersive performance and scare acting.

“It’s a great place to work and a great company to be part of.”

The two-and-a-half-hour experience will see thrill-seekers exploring parts of the turbine steam ship in the hope of stopping a ‘virus’.

It’s not for the fainthearted, company bosses warn.

Bookings are now being taken on the Zombie Infection website.
