Shortlist is announced for Awards

-

FROM manufacturing to technology and innovation to logistics, firms from a diverse range of sectors have made the shortlist for this year’s MEN Business of the Year Awards.

The event, in its 26th year, will take place on November 15 in Manchester’s Principal Hotel.

Executive sponsors for this year’s awards are Manchester Airport, business advisers PwC, recruitment giant Robert Walters, law firm Hill Dickinson, Barclays, Brewin Dolphin and private equity specialists, LDC.

Category sponsors are Bolton School and Salford Business School.

More than 100 companies entered and judges spent months visiting each entrant before gathering to agree shortlists for each category.

And now they have reached their conclusion.

All shortlisted firms will present to a panel of judges, ahead of the awards night, at which the winners will be revealed.

M.E.N. business editor Shelina Begum said: “We say it every year but the quality of entrants this time around was truly exceptional.

“Arriving at the final shortlist was no easy task, with scores of great entries in all categories.
