ICONIC American folk rock group The Eagles have announced details of the European leg of their 2019 world tour, with a stop at the Manchester Arena.

The US rockers will perform classic songs from their long and successful music career, such as Hotel California, Life In The Fast Lane and One Of These Nights.

The six-time Grammy award winners have been releasing music since 1972, and returned with Long Road Out Of Eden in 2007 - their first album in nearly three decades.

The Eagles were the biggest selling American band of the 1970s and earned themselves a place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Their Greatest Hits 1971-1977 album was recently certified the best-selling album in history, while Hotel California is the third best-selling album.

The current line-up of Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B Schmit, with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey, will kick off the European dates in Belgium in May next year.

They will play six dates in the UK and one in Dublin, with Sheryl Crow confirmed as support for the London date.

The Eagles will play at Manchester Arena on Wednesday June 26, 2019.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, October 5 at 9am at Ticketmaster.

There will be a fan pre-sale on Thursday October 4 from 9am.
