Housewife Tanya stuns in replica of ‘that dress’
THE Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya Bardsley looked incredible as she ‘did a Liz Hurley’ and donned a safety pin Versace dress for a night out on the town.
The mother-of-four drew comparisons with the Hollywood actress as she posed in a dress similar to the famous Versace number Liz wore to the Four Weddings and a Funeral premiere back in 1994.
Liz hit headlines for the low-cut design strategically held to together by oversized gold safety pins and featuring a daring thigh-slit, and Tanya turned heads in the 2018 version at the city’s new celeb haunt Toy Box.
Sharing a photo of her eye-catching look on Instagram Tanya said “Versace darling Versace” - and the compliments came flooding in from her followers.
Jackie Cookley commented: “Liz Hurley darling.” Another fan wrote: “Liz Hurley who?!” And another said: “Doing a Liz Hurley #thatdress.”
Tanya and footballer husband Phil looked on great form as they partied at Toy Box in Queen Street, which has the tag line “I lost my teddy bear can I sleep with you?” and gives adult twist to games and toys of childhood days and has a mascot bear called Frankie.
The couple had to move house this summer after a freak fire gutted their £2m Wilmslow mansion.
The fire took place during the summer’s heatwave - with the wall-towall sunshine being blamed for an electrical fire that started on the top floor of the mansion.
Tanya explained previously: “My house burnt down. We had a mirrored TV in our bathroom. The sun has gone through the skylight and it’s just exploded because of the heat and sun through all this heatwave.
“It destroyed the whole top floor, but then all the water damage from the fire engines, it’s all gone through every floor. So we’re going to have to rip it all out.
“We’ve moved house for about six months while they get all the repairs done.”
Also among the VIP partygoers were Leicester city ace Hamza Choudhury and his girlfriend Olivia Fountain who were celebrating their 21st birthdays.
