FORMER Coronation Street star Lucy-Jo Hudson has confirmed her new relationship in a loved-up social media post. Lucy, who split from her husband and former Corrie co-star Alan Halsall last year, is now dating entertainer Lewis Devine, who she starred with in pantomime at Christmas in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the St Helens Theatre Royal.

Smitten Lucy, who played killer Katy Harris in the ITV1 soap, shared a black and white photo of the pair on her Instagram with some loving words for her man on his birthday.

‘How are you mine? I am beyond lucky to have found you baby @ lewisdevine!’ she said.

‘Happy Birthday. You are one of the kindest, sweetest, funniest, most talented and beautiful souls I’ve ever met! I can’t wait to celebrate this special day with you. Love you, gorgeous xxx’

Lucy recently shared a photo of the couple enjoying a family day out, and when asked about Alan she said: “We separated a year ago, we’ve both moved on.”

Best wishes have been flooding in from fans including one follower who said: ‘Such a lovely picture! Full of happiness.’

And another said: ‘You deserve every bit of happiness! Have a fab day both of you xx.’

Her ex has been turning heads recently with a buff new look , and he showed off topless snaps from his holiday in Ibiza.

Alan looked a far cry from his overall-wearing Corrie character Tyrone as he showed off his toned physique in the sunshine, prompting plenty of compliments from fans on Instagram.

He and Lucy confirmed their marriage was over in April.

The couple are parents to a fiveyear-old daughter Sienna-Rae.

Lucy-Jo confirmed their marriage was over following rumours the couple had split after eight years of marriage.

In a statement via her agent she said: “I can confirm that Al and I are in the process of divorcing. “We remain friends and devoted mummy and daddy to our daughter Sienna. We would appreciate privacy so that we can focus on Sienna’s continued happiness.” They married in a fairy tale wedding in Cheshire in 2009 and went on to welcome Sienna in 2013. The couple briefly split in March 2016, before rekindling their romance and reuniting later that year. After leaving Corrie Lucy-Jo starred in ITV vet drama Wild at Heart between 2006 and 2009 before a second spell from 2012 until 2013. The award-winning actress scooped Villain of the Year at last year’s British Soap Awards for her performance in the BBC1 soap Doctors as Rhiannon Davis, a depressed new mum who was responsible for the death of her baby. This year she joined Channel Four soap Hollyoaks as prostitute Donna-Marie.
