Dale searching for rare home comfort

ROCHDALE face Charlton Athletic at Spotland this afternoon and are aiming for just their second home win of the season in League One.

Dale are 17th in the table after a 3-0 loss at Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday night while opponents Charlton – who have lost just two of their last nine games in all competitions – are 11th in the table.

BURY travel to Port Vale in League Two looking to extend their unbeaten run to eight games in all competitions.

The Shakers are eighth in the table and just one point off the play-offs after a 1-1 draw against Newport County on Tuesday.

Striker Nicky Maynard opened the scoring at Gigg Lane – his fifth goal in as many starts for the club – and the 31-year-old has now extended his contract until the end of the season.

OLDHAM are away at Northampton this afternoon and go into the game on the back of a 2-0 win against Cheltenham Town.

The Latics are 12th in League Two, while opponents Northampton are up to 18th after a comprehensive 5-0 win at Macclesfield.

MACCLESFIELD face Cambridge United at the Abbey Stadium and are still bottom of the table.

BOLTON are at home to Hull City this afternoon, having won just one of their last ten games in the Championship.

WIGAN have lost seven of their eight away games this season and they face second-placed Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
