Reality is a good night for Tina

-

CORRIE’S Tina O’Brien stepped away from the famous cobbles of Weatherfield for a night out with the Real Housewives of Cheshire.

Tina, who plays Underworld personal assistant Sarah Platt, mingled with Housewives Lauren Simon, Rachel Lugo and Perla Navia.

The mother-of-two looked glam in black skintight trousers and a jumper with the romantic slogan ‘Love Saves the Day,’ adding a pop of colour with vibrant red tassel earrings and red lipstick. Yoga teacher Perla, a newcomer to the eighth series of the hit ITVBe reality show, was joined by her husband Jonathan Barton at the launch of the The Allotment vegan restaurant in Manchester.

And the reality star, who used to be a size 16 and is now a size six, says plant-based food is one of the reasons behind her weight loss.

Perla is encouraging her co-stars to go plant-based, and says Tanya Bardsley is already giving it a try. Perla said: “As a lover of health and fitness this food is the food of my soul. I am trying to get the rest of the girls to go plant-based.”

The girls have filmed the famously explosive end-of-series reunion show this week which is sure to involve a huge amount of drama, something which Perla has not been shy of since she joined the show.

At the start of the series, Rachel found out her husband John had been having secret yoga classes with Perla – and he upset his wife by saying he found his tutor attractive. But the show has seen the two women become friends. VIP guests sampled a five-course banquet by head chef Matthew Nutter at the launch of The Allotment on the former Buca Di Pizza site on Lloyd Street, off Deansgate.
