Top toys for kids this Christmas

-

IF you are yet to start your Christmas shopping, eBay has released its ‘12 Toys of Christmas’ list to help parents pick out the gifts their children will be hoping for this year.

Popular brands such as Lego, Harry Potter, Barbie and Nerf all feature with prices starting at £44.99.

The online action site has teamed up with social and behavioural psychologist Honey Langcaster-James to help compile the must-have list.

Unicorn toys have also made the list and Honey has a psychological reason as to why kids are drawn to them.

She said: “Unicorns encourage imagination and allow children to escape the every-day.

“Whilst the toys engage a child’s interest through fantasy and magic, they allow to explore a world where everything is exciting, yet also safe – as well as offering a sense of comfort and companionship.”

On devising the list, Alice Winter, category manager of toys and games at eBay.co.uk said: “In 2017, we saw nearly 360 million searches for toys during the festive period.

“This year we wanted to highlight the 12 toys we know kids will love this Christmas, and also offer some unique insight into the benefits of playing with them.” The 12 toys are: 1. Harry Potter Hogwarts Great Hall
