Regatta opens store in region for first time

OUTDOOR clothing brand Regatta has opened its first ever Greater Manchester store at the Lowry Outlet.

Trafford Park-based Regatta, which is home to brands including Craghopper­s and Dare2b, will sells a range of outdoor footwear, rucksacks, accessorie­s as well as outdoor kits for all weathers.

Joanne Black, retail director at Regatta said: “This really is an exciting time for the Regatta brand to be opening in Lowry Outlet, our first store in Greater Manchester. Manchester is a fabulous marketplac­e and our customers can expect to receive great service, great brands and see an incredible range suitable for all the family at affordable prices as we look to inspire more and more people to fall in love with the great outdoors.”

Kelly Hurst, centre manager at Lowry Outlet, said: “We’re delighted to end 2018 by welcoming Regatta’s first ever Manchester store at Lowry Outlet.

“The mixture of different brands they will be selling is perfect for our wide and varied demographi­c, we can’t wait to see what 2019 has to bring Lowry Outlet.”

The opening of Regatta follows the announceme­nt of ‘The Watergarde­ns’, a £26m investment to create an elegant dining concept along the waterfront at Salford Quays, along with refurbishm­ent of the Vue cinema, which is due for completion in early 2019.
