Street stars caught short with new-look hairstyles at party

-

CORONATION Street stars Lucy Fallon and Nicola Thorp showed off their stunning new looks as they hit the town to celebrate costar Victoria Ekanoye’s birthday.

Lucy, who plays Bethany Platt, and Nicola, who plays Nicola Rubinstein in the soap, were both sporting new shorter hairstyles as they headed to Rosso restaurant at Spring Gardens.

Award-winning actress Lucy, who won the best actress gong at this year’s British Soap Awards for her portrayal of Bethany, was beaming as she walked arm-in-arm with her beau Tom Leech.

Looking glam in a snake print dress with green heels and a cosy grey jacket, she carried a bee print umbrella on the chance of any sudden showers.

Lucy revealed her new hair to her Instagram followers this week and was flooded with compliments.

“New hair? It’s said one fan.

And another praised: “Babe ur hair looks amazing.”

Nicola, who returns to our screens in the new year as evil Pat Phelan’s daughter Nicola, also looked glam with her new bob style.

Her character Nicola headed off for pastures new in Bristol earlier this year, taking her baby Zack with her, after gorgeous,” killer Phelan’s reign of terror finally ended when he was stabbed by Anna Windass. Nicola first appeared on the cobbles in June 2017 as the caseworker of Seb Franklin after he was arrested and jailed in a young offenders’ institute for attacking Faye Windass’ Jackson Hodge.

She was in for a shock when she discovered twisted Weatherfield builder Phelan was her real father.

Nicola posed for photos with co-star Sair Khan who recently returned to the UK after her stint running the gauntlet in the jungle on I’m a Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!

Sair, who impressed viewers with her fearless attitude on the ITV1 reality show, plays feisty Alya Nazir in Corrie.

Both ladies were all smiles in snuggly black coats and boots to ward off the chill.

Birthday girl Victoria wowed on her big night out in an olive green dress, a festive sparkling jacket with elegant black heels.

Bhavna Limbachia, who plays Rana Nazir in Corrie, was all smiles in a stylish black blazer jacket teamed with skintight black trousers, her hair pulled back into a neat bun and Tisha Merry, who played Steph Britton, made a style statement in a tan trench coat over a blush-coloured jumper with vibrant hot pink heels.
