Tech services provider celebrates client boost
A GREATER Manchester provider of technology services to the private and public sectors has signed a series of big-name clients.
Informed Solutions, which is headquartered in Altrincham with offices in Australia, specialises in digital transformation programmes and big data solutions to key government departments both in the UK and in Australia and to global majors operating in over 40 countries.
The company, which won a Queen’s Award for Innovation in April, has recently signed up the NHS, Royal Mail and Ofsted in the UK and National Archives Australia.
This has resulted in 15 new jobs, four one-year student work placements and 11 new contractor roles.
The recent wins follows support from GC Business Growth Hub, part of The Growth Company.
Group CEO Elizabeth Vega realised that for the business’s continued development and to strengthen the company’s brand, Informed Solutions needed to reflect this progress in its marketing strategy.
At the core of her plans was the launch a new website that reflected the company’s core values while adapting to the different needs of the UK and Australian markets.
In 2017, Elizabeth worked closely with the hub to identify key areas for improvement. Two of the firm’s leadership team took part on the Greater Connected programme, an intensive business accelerator initiative geared towards supporting the start-up and scale-up ambitions of digital, creative and technology SMEs.
The programme helped the leadership team to define its scale-up plans and take a more strategic approach to communications.
This resulted in Informed Solutions launching a new global website, to which it attributes the signing of several new high-profile clients.
Elizabeth said: “Following the new website launch, we immediately saw an increase in visitors, including a 130pc increase in traffic towards our ‘platforms and solutions’ page and a 110pc increase in traffic towards our ‘industry capabilities’ page.”
