Corrie Alexandra’s new look
SHE’S been a big hit with fans since she arrived on our screens last year – and Coronation Street star Alexandra Mardell looked completely different as she walked the red carpet in Manchester with a new red hairstyle.
Alexandra, who plays bubbly hair stylist Emma Brooker, attended the press night for the musical Annie – one of the world’s most famous redheads – at the Opera House.
She donned the flame-coloured Lois wig from Hair Arvina in Hale for a night at the theatre and was joined on the red carpet with co-star Katie McGlynn, who plays new mum Sinead Tinker, Brooke Vincent who plays Sophie Webster, Tisha Merry who played Steph Britton in the soap and Vicky Entwistle who played Weatherfield legend Janice Battersby.
Vicky, sporting short blond cropped hair, wowed in a lacy navy blue dress with a slick of vibrant pink lipstick.
Katie, from Rochdale, whose character recently gave birth prematurely to a baby boy while battling cervical cancer, showed off her winter style in a cream jumper dress with a Gucci belt, over-the-knee black boots and an eye-catching furry coat.
And Brooke, from Audenshaw, embraced the new neutral colours trend in a tan aviator jacket with wide-legged jeans.
Emma, who joined the show in April last year as an apprentice at Audrey’s salon, looked stylish in skinny jeans with a Gucci belt and large hoop earrings.
